darkness is fashioned from light
truth depends on an argument
best delivered peacefully...
revenge offers an appearance
only when necessary and the
people always win eventually.
dramas are best told around
campfires when the full moon's
light casts distant shadows and
beliefs are temporarily suspended
in lieu of a promised fresh start.
those who lost scamper off into
a backroom closest - seeking what
little restitution they can find,
while those who pursue unlikely
realities are the ones always
smiling with the final vote cast.
