glimpses into the future we take
by looking into the past,
understanding the influences that
incentivized our actions...
labelling our friends with photos
while ignoring all others by
deleting their addresses...
strange days and strange nights
flow through our minds like
abandoned memories we
perceived were meaningless...
the past grows on us like a
heavy beard needing shaving,
leaving us in the present when
the power is virtually interrupted.
