the cycle continues
populations increase
scarcity grows and
the life we once knew
has disappeared into
creation's sunset...
we are tested and true
live life simply with
knowledge to spare,
campfires of doubt
burn strong in winter,
providing just enough
to cook our fish...
liberty beckons as if we
were strangers offering
us a seat on the horse
drawn cart built to take
us to our resting place.
