Growth of Knowledge

my tree of knowledge falls
when no one is around,
and the sound that it makes
when hitting the ground
is lost forever...
as is the reason for the decay
causing its collapse...
the truth is not in the
decay or in the falling
but in the reason for its
growth in the first place.
