Aftermath Predicted

sadness is the mood of the day
regret is its point of view,
daring to risk the future on a
mind full of rationalization
and ideals linked to failure,
hiding in the backrooms are
the boys of damnation
the girls of prostituted thoughts,
judges of deceit and lies
juries of wholesome discontent,
born out of speculation and
misguided beliefs...  religious
parades of ignorance and 
the burning of witches who
were possessed with conflicting
opinions - right and wrong
had no meaning
no jurisdiction
with trials already decided,
kings and queens bend a knee
the new crown prince arrives,
justice crucified and buried
no resurrection allowed...
the ends justified with the
beginnings and the means
provide equal opportunities.
