Cornered

I have a costumed made
corner desk, sitting
in a corner
of a corner office,
of a cornered building,
of a cornered section
of a cornered town,
located in a cornered State
catacorner to another,
cornered in a country
that sits squarely
in the center
of a world gone mad;
and,
while few share this view,
it is of no consequence
because,  we
have everyone cornered.
