the cruelties of life are
delayed and perpetuated
by our carefully selected words
to keep it present but moving;
we de-flesh thoughts like
piranha, hoping to mystify
those closest to us and
confuse those who
would be close since wanting
supersedes having;
the morning after now becomes
the morning before and new
schemes are developed
or refurbished from before
and we react totally upon
instinct just like the
Ninja Warrior.
