we test the limits of our patience everyday
wondering if this is the day that breaks us
or is it just another day at work so to speak?
But, whatever the case may be, our arrogance
holds us steadfast and true while narrowing
our ability to escape the daily redundant truths;
judgement eventually finds us and typically
with one foot already in the hole, we dig for
ourselves while backing our of our fatal entrance.
