Two Sons

It has always been understood that
our lives here on earth only last a
certain amount of time, and then we
perish into a new life considerably
different from what we have known;
but, how does that fit the stereotype
of what we have come to believe
and how do we reconcile beliefs
with scientific realities, especially
when dates show large contradiction?
