ever so slowly,
one bead of liquid
at a time,
easily,
gently,
persistently
flows
down the hollow tube
of Peruvian Plastic,
through the needle
and into my vein,
on the back of
my hand,
taped down
to keep it in place,
as the toxins
slowly streams
into the blood stream
saving my
life...
