Knowing It

waiting...
for it to happen
and it...
never does,
so,
we continue to wait
and wait
until...
life, as we know it
has passed us by
and we
as we knew ourselves
know us not
anymore...
so,
waiting...
is not the waiting
that we
thought it would be,
but,
we still believe
it,

will  happen
eventually.
