Inside the vast majority of silence
lies the minority of speaking out
the injustice the world must endures
we sleep secure in that knowledge
holding each other whole harmless
in the agreements of our peers and
those who would be our leaders
and those who should be our saints
but more human than anticipated
were they when it came time to
let it all be forgotten once again.
