Make Believe
for endless days
it seems,
I have sat in this chair
and watched
the waves roll in
and watched them roll
back in again and
while their actions seem
rather repetitious to me,
my own actions are not
much different; and if,
I thought they might be,
then, we would all be in
the zone of make believe.
