Grave Concern

dense fog covers the view
as far as the eyes can see,
with an early morning
temperature of sixty and
humidity pegged at one hundred,
drowns out the stillness of all,
yet, there is life flying and
running everywhere, as
they try to escape their
feelings of grave concern
