Justice

from inside the house

and through the window

light appears

on the floor

beside the chair

in which he sits

and wonders if

today is the day

for which

he has been waiting

all these years

and,

if it is

then she

the angel of death

will appear momentarily

and his life as he

had just remember it

will finally be over

and,

all his critics

namely his family

will finally receive what

they had been waiting for

and justice

from their standpoint

will have

finally been served.
