Walls

walls of doubt
stand in between
our future
and our past,
realizing not
how they impact
each other;

walls of protection
stand in between
us and our
neighbors, knowing
they prevent
cross contamination;



walls of love
prevent us from
living in a world
of loneliness, but,
cannot protect
us from false
love that is ever
present in our
world of walls.
