across the aisle they look
for sympathy they suppose
none is forthcoming...
words are exchanged 
in a heated format
scorning those who scorn
evoking a feeling of quilt
that has since been denied,
wondering why and
wondering when they
belabor their approach
hoping to garner something,
again, nothing is given...
retribution they spout
out of filthy mouths but
are ignored once again
before they decided to 
turn a blind eye to all.
