mirror-like waters reflect what we don't see
pools flow under and around
streamers of yellows and blues mark the walls
allowing normal traffic to pass through,
purple hues guide our sight
directing us under and from within
platforms appear incidental
Shadows define the light that dwells
inside the recesses and crevices.
undisturbed water flows centuries long.
without interference or interludes
Rocking patterns yet to be defined or brought
into question by those who doubt.
the unknown penetrates before invasion
time wrestles with its own eventualities,
water carved out this underground tomb
and we saw it either first or last depending
upon the perspective of one's awareness.
