a sea of ignorance floats past us daily
politicians bickering for re-elections
journalists selling their stories
influencers peddling their opinions
an ocean of lies washes up on the
mental interests as we gather-up the
details of life in iambic pentameter,
out of context are voices taken
spinning words this way and that
hoping to influence one's doubts or
one's beliefs just momentarily...
heightened expressions of lies
permeate our society daily with the
sole purpose of peddling rumors for
the sake of rumors, change minds
to change votes and redistrict to keep
the other side from winning at all
or ever again in this lifetime at least.
