abandoning common sense,
relying on hurt feelings to
be caught and cared for by
strangers who by chance are there;
regrets never surface while
excuses and implications point
inappropriate fingers at the problem,
ignoring the solution and
"until death do us part" promises
become phrases on a dog collar
of a dog that cannot hunt.
