Scooping Poop

Into the litter box of life, I fear I peer

wanting to separate the good from the bad

so that the ingredients last a little longer,

but not too long that it begins to smell,

hoping that all those cats who venture here

will remember their basic instincts and

all my scooping will not be done in vain.
