around us is life and death and choices made frequently
and consequences we may
or may not like but our world
it can always be said continues;
a quarter of a century almost
we have done this and will,
it appears, continue to do so
for many future decades, but,
when all is said and done,
we will look back on this and
never see the individuals whose
actions made it happen this way.
