Our Custom

clear blue and cold after
cloudy and warm before,
changing from outside to
inside with our activities
and degrees on the deal;
we live in a mild climate
with seasonal extremes
and we seek out shelter
often as is our ritual and
our custom if it is not at
all perceived to our liking;
confuse us or not with
liberals and conservatives
as we are more independent
in thought and deed and
seldom do we follow if that
is just the right thing to do.
