Senses

hear
     see
         smell 
                taste
                      feel

senses are real

alive and full

of energy,

reminding us

of what it is like

to be human;

normal and

unconditional

they are,

will be...

betrayed at birth

by sounds and

sensations,

we grow into

what we believe

to be true

rather than

rely on senses.
