Night fall quickly
this time of year,
streetlamps shine
an appearance of fog
in the distance seen
down through the
road ahead...
beside me walks
my friend
of many years now,
along this road
we have traveled
once times many,
perhaps this will be
the last as we
both aging rapidly.
