Down . . .
dark and deep,
we plunge
ourselves
into mistrust
and
broken promises,
into
arguement ugly,
leaving scars
in place of love
once felf;
Bitterly . . .
hurling words
and
penetrating comments
that eyes
shield;
manifest anger
subverts a perverted
sense of hope,
drawing us back
in to the same illness
we thought
we had escaped . . .
or,
thought we had.
