Cracked
feelings for but are
trapped inside the
hollow center of a coconut,
mixing with all the
flavors I dislike; and,
when cracked open
and released, finally
understand the
needing to be free.

Age Descending
inside the body of an old man,
my young feeling mind seeks
release and to be returned to
the year of its first awareness
as has been done so many times
before; but alas,
it is not meant to be and
ages descends upon me
like night upon day and
the sunrise I just expressed
will have to last a while.
