do not take the fork
in the road, if,
you want to find me;
instead, target the
southern exposures
where tanned bodies
walk the beaches
like dead memories
walk mind sands,
and the tides of
forgiveness are seldom
seen unless they
superficially surface
when one's guards
have been drenched
by a tidal wave.
