Music

each song is a different
tone for loneliness,
sharing sentiments
and feelings through
rhythms and melodies,
hoping to find sanctuarary
and peace but intead,
a hollow companion
whose nature
was to take, not give,
hoping each new song
will be the one
that breaks through our
depression, but,
it's just another melody
that offers only promises.
