around a mental wading pool,
it grows in abundance,
like pubic hair before it is
shaved completely away,
avoiding uninvited summer
guests who always seem to
stay too long, yet the pool
cools the walking feet of my
thoughts when they travel
too far in the morning like an
ankle bracelet for a convict.
