Wisdom Dies

wisdom rests quietly
and silently between
the ears of the learned
as they attempt to
convey their geniuses
to those with lesser minds
in the hope of gaining
respect and awe for all
they hold inside them
like a bank that needs
to be robbed since
its contents are
worthless and cannot
be spent on anything
in today's world.
