Free to Choose

what clothes do I wear
now that I am retired,
I wonder...
thinking,
it no longer matters,
if a shirt and tie
or jeans and t-shirt
as I am now free
to choose whatever,
and free to die
whatever reason I see
or so it seems
which is not really
true at all as I must
wear the same clothes
I've always worn or
I would not be me.
