Bearings

our faults
dwell in our beginnings
when free will
was first explored
as being a
viable alternative
to just believing
it had ever been
given so freely;
and, in return
we learned not a thing
still growing
in our pursuits
until one day,
we acquired the vision
that was intellectual
and had no bearing
on the truth.
