COVID Ignorance

death came early

to a few,

later to many

while

some not at all

and we 

sit at home

on soft asses

waiting

for it all to pass

as if

oblivious

to all the pain

and suffering

around us,

feeding faces

gracefully

in the wake

of death,

dying,

and ignorance.
