rain melts away fogno clouds in the sky
rumors fly from bird to bird
regarding Spring'd delay;
blooms on stems appeared
early as Bradford's push
out their whites too,
hoping to bring a little
color the gloomy brown
forest in which nature's
few tend to survive.
