enlightened,
they say we are
with our murders,
rapes and beatings,
cultured,
they say we are
few cares about the arts
even fewer care
civility...
educated,
they say we are,
mostly memorize
then forget we do,
as grades become
rock idols...
compassionate,
they say we are
pulling knives out 
from backs and spewing
hate on public forums...
declining,
they say our nation is
none wonder why.
