in the heart of nothingness, we survive
clinging to our preconceived ideas...
we rage against what we do not want
to understand, accepting what we know
no longer works in our society...
praising those who bring it about
condemning those who tear it down...
in the soul of insanity we bathe our
bodies with its idiosyncrasies while
basking in the limelight of condemnation
of what we were told to no longer believe,
we are righteous in our pursuits of life
and all the laws we disobey to get there,
we want more and more, giving less
and less, believing it is our solemn
right to be this way, hating those who
disagree with our selfishness...
a new breed of citizen we are or have
become and it is up to us to build this
nation in that image of self-imagination.
