watching and wondering
if it will ever be...
we sit on the sidelines
waiting and wondering
if it will ever be...
alone in the singularity
of time, an individual
waits but does not wonder,
instead, it speculates as to
as to the nature of its work
and if tampering with DNA
is irreversible...
what will be, will be
what is, is
no changing
no going back
wondering is meaningless
speculation too,
we learn what we are given
substituting what we think
dealing with the ins and outs
of knowledge and the
wisdom of mistakes, not the
fears that share the unknown
or those who live within
our brief present
as it always seems to
vanish after blinking eyes.
