hearts embedded in Atlantis
tell no lies today and the
truth is buried deep at the
bottom of the sea, protecting
a lifestyle that few experienced;
deep below the surface, currents
traverse the globe
sediments of time, building
shifting and building again,
mounds of memories,
encased and stored, but
never re-assembled in any
kind of meaningful relation;
hearts embedded in Atlantis
will forever remain a mystery
until the ocean's secrets surface.
