ever so slowly...ever so gently...
but with persistence
and trepidation
her hand moved
downward...
farther and farther...
until she found
what she needed,
and,
her fingers
inserted themselves
willingly...
without hesitation,
as she had feared;
she knew what others knew,
felt what others felt...
she was renewed...
she was satisfied...
she was relieved.
