really matter since
we are still together, or
is there something else
going on here likeremembering and
being remembered; and,
which one of those is
the strongest when it is
love that holds it together?
we have lived our lives together
discreetly and in blocks
of time called years
and over time, our love,
its universal understanding,
has led us to a better place,
and soon to be expressed
daily when our days have
become all our own again.
