of the mind,
hidden from false pretense
and absurdities;
life dwells in the future
of uncertainties,
leaving the past to fight
for its own survival;
light and dark clash as
they always have done,
winning and losing, but
never giving up their cause;
knights of survival
pawns of disbelief
moral fabrics not blended
torn tapestries of time;
the game is always the same
always being played
living our feeble lives
in self absorbed serenity.
