Passing Through

surrounded by brown wood,
that is surrounded by green leaves,
that is surrounded by blue skies,
that is surrounded by a dark universe,
we see omniscience lurking
around every encirclement
knowing we can never escape the threat
until life itself is over and we have
successfully passed through.
