I.
I am in a state of calm
as I hear the purring and
see him sitting beside
me... I know and it is
hard to explain... that
God is taking care of
me through my pal.
II.
it is another morning and I
am left with my thoughts...
no one else's... and I wonder
if I could have another's
thoughts... and what that
would feel like... and how I
would react each morning
with theirs instead of mine.
