Crossing Traffic

behind the closed door is a closed mind

that has no desire to find enlightenment,

it is content with its complacencies and

the ignorance that follows like a well

trained obedient dog...   we have learned

nothing as we move through our public

education, opening our doors to all sorts

of education opportunities secured by

those papers claiming our intelligence;

behind the closed door is a closed mind

and the ignorance that rides our the backs

of the degreed like an unwelcome parasite,

voting from a liberal point of view...  not

understanding the consequences of our

actions or lack thereof...  we are secure

in our moronic thoughts, gravitating to

the middle of the road where the traffic

is not likely to allow us to cross in front

of them despite having working brakes.
