itching
itching
a bite or two
sustainable
more than that
irritation
and the spray,
paste or gel
unworkable,
at night
when sleep is nigh
yet unachievable,
itching
itching
itching
irreversible
maddening
insurmountable...
pills to the rescue
late at night
sleep arrives
just before dawn
noonday sun
finds me refreshed,
ready again
to take on the
remaining day and
more bug bites.
