morning sun covers the valley in
a soothing heat allowing carpenter
bees to argue for territory amidst the
predatory birds that swoop down
hoping to find their prey where it is
least expected... hiding in plain sight;
trees have all acquired their summer
leaves except for a few nandina that
received late invitations... even the
dogwoods are in full bloom... we
see no growth on the azaleas as they
were the last to be bush wacked...
morning sun steams up the valley in
an effort to be like their southern
neighbors closer to the smokys...
where the stills crank out the juice
that keeps its inhabitants warm and
warmer throughout the year... flocks
of clouds roam around the skies as
they look for accommodations and
not so obvious places to urinate...
morning valley sun leads to afternoon
doldrums and soon the Cherokee will
come down from their nation and
apply us with enttertainment we need.
