Twenty-five or thirty it could be
No more or no less
Depending upon how we measure
When meeting or when married;
Years have rolled by quickly
Some good, some better, some less
But all passed nonetheless;
Many travels have we enjoyed
To many parts of the world
Never to places we didn’t want to visit
Just so we could be traveling;
The beaches were beautiful most everywhere
Some were better than others,
Depending upon how they were perceived,
None compared to Myrtle Beach however;
We have had Margaritas in Cancun
Seen the Eiffle Tower and the Colosseum,
Had fish ‘n’ chips in an English Pub,
And bought coffee on Kona;
Ships, Planes, and Trains all have ridden
From the east coast to the west
Between the northern and southern states
In the Caribbean and Mediterranean;
We have made our homes in several locations
All within the state of Tennessee
And it does not matter where we are anymore
Provide that we always do it together.
