once we were unique
once we were envied
among all other couples,
time took our souls into
another direction, and
we are nothing more
than the ugly remnants
of a bad relatiionship;
once we were in love
once we loved each other
once we were inseperable
once we were gifted with
the love that few have
ever experience before...
it was shortlived and not
as righteous as we thought,
ending in a deluge of hate
conveyed by ignoring...
we are together and will be
always that way as there is
nowhere for us to go and
each day remaining, we
the contempt in our eyes
the regrest not conveyed.
