it moves slowly and quietly
at first, almost unnoticed
and gradually picks up speed
when we are too busy to pay
much attention, but then
there comes a point-in-time
when it kicks us like a mule
and we realize it is almost over
and we start to realize all we missed
and no matter how much we
think that we have done, there
will always be more that we
know we actually could have done.
